Here at Wiggins Fork, we offer each guest an at-home feel, surrounded by breathtaking, untouched natural beauty and wildlife. Unplug and get off grid with the modern conveniences of utilities, private bedrooms and family cabins, and a limited number of other guests.

OUR HISTORY

The Wiggins Fork Lodge was originally homesteaded in 1856 and remained occupied by the Hough family up to the 1930. The abandoned property was discovered by air and was opened as The Condit Wiggins Fork Ranch and in the 1970’s was the largest Hunting Outfit in the States. The ranch is nestled on 184 secluded acres of pristine Wyoming wilderness. The lodge and cabins are located approximately 25 miles north of Dubois, WY in the Shoshone National Forest and accessible only by high-lift 4×4 or the original ATVs: horses. In 2019, Wiggins Fork was reopened, and we are thrilled to share our slice of heaven with you.
 

ADVENTURES

As a guest at our ranch, you can expect to find endless opportunities for outdoor adventure. Each morning, enjoy your coffee from your cabin or the main lodge overlooking our grazing horses, resident moose, and other wildlife. Just a few short steps away is the Wiggins Fork River. Start your day with a private fly fishing outing at the river (hook a world-class cutthroat trout or one of the many other, native species), followed by lunch on the river bank or back at the lodge. In the afternoon, take a hike to enjoy the mountain air, or, leave the work to our gentle trail horses with a horseback ride. Be sure to pack your camera and keep your eyes peeled for antler sheds and the original Historic Hough Homestead Cabin. After a home-cooked dinner by the lodge fire, step outside and take in the Wyoming night sky with the best stargazing the West has to offer.
